RETURN POLICY
At Girl Code Inc., we want you to be pleased with your purchase. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, you may return for store credit or refund with the addition of a 10% restocking fee.
Eligible items may be returned with an additional 10% restocking fee. Items purchased online may not be returned or exchanged in person. If you wish to return for a refund, there will be a 10% restocking fee which will be deducted from your original order amount. The original cost of shipping will not be refunded, and you are responsible for the cost of the return shipping. Packages sent without first contacting us will not be accepted. Girl Code Inc. must receive the returned item within 15 days of return authorization. Please keep the return tracking information for your records. Girl Code Inc. is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Girl Code Inc. does not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to Girl Code Inc. Please also kindly remember, in order to be eligible for a return or exchange you must contact Girl Code Inc. within 10 days of receiving your order.
Please follow the steps below for your return:
1. Notify us your return via email(girlcodeincc@gmail.com) with your order number.
2. Securely pack the necessary items along with the invoice in the original packaging.
3. Print the return label we sent via email and attach it to the package and ship the package back to us.
*The cost of the pre-paid return label will be deducted from your refund.
**Pre-paid return label will be sent to US domestic customers only.
-RETURNS MUST BE IN ORIGINAL CONDITION-
*To be eligible for a return, your item must be unworn, free of makeup stains, unaltered, unwashed and in the same condition that you received it, not used or altered in any way.
10 DAY STANDARD RETURN POLICY
We accept returns within 10 days of receipt of delivery. Our return policy lasts 10 days because we receive new items every day and sell out of items very quickly. We will gladly pay your return shipping if item was not what was ordered or defective.
NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS
The following items are non-returnable.
- All Accessories(jewelry, hats, belts, bags, scarves, and others)
- All intimate, swimwear, and bodysuit items
- Final sale items
Refunds
Once we have received your package, your refund will be processed within 7-14 business days. You will be notified via email at the email address listed on your account when your order was placed. Please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post the transaction to your account. Original shipping charges are non-refundable.
We check all the items we send out in person but if by chance the item was not what was ordered, defective or damaged we will gladly refund the total amount of order including the original shipping.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you have not received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. **Online store credit is a form of gift card that can be used on our website. In returns, online store credit is issued after we receive return item(s).
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Please allow 2-4 business days for processing. All orders placed by 4PM CST Monday-Friday will be processed and shipped the same day. All orders placed on Saturday after 3:30 p.m. CST will begin processing on the following Monday.
Girl Code Inc. is not responsible for any delays in delivery caused by unclaimed packages or incorrect shipping addresses (the shipping address the customer enters at the time of the purchase is the address we will ship the package to)
Please note that shipping times provided by usps are only estimates and not guaranteed. Usps does miss shipping dates occasionally and the usps tracking system is not always updated in real time.
Due to Covid-19 and current tariffs some packages may take longer to be delivered.
TRACKING A SHIPMENT
Once we ship your package, you will be given a tracking number via the email listed on the account of your order. You may check the status of your shipment by entering your tracking number on the USPS website.
STOLEN OR LOST PACKAGE
Once a shipment leaves our facility, factors beyond our control may result in your order arriving at its destination either sooner or later than expected. Girl Code Inc. does not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation for the actions of USPS, weather and any other events that may lead to delays, loss or stolen packages.
PRE-ORDERS
Items marked "PRE-ORDER" are not yet in stock but are available in advance for purchase. Once the pre-order window closes (typically within 7 days or sooner), we place a bulk order with our vendor. From there, please allow 7-14 business days for production and delivery to us. Once we receive your pre-order item(s), your order will be processed and shipped within 2-4 business days.
You will receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number via email once your order has been fulfilled.
PLEASE NOTE: If you order in-stock and pre-order items in the same transaction, the in-stock items will ship as normal.
